Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Next Power is a brand of Inboundtrip Ventures (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our charging stations, apps, website, RFID products, and related services, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian laws.
2. Data we collect
- Identity & contact: name, phone number, email, and account identifiers
- Authentication: OTP verification status and session tokens (we do not store raw OTP codes longer than needed)
- Vehicle & RFID: vehicle details you provide and RFID / idTag assignments
- Charging & billing: station, connector, energy consumed, session times, tariffs, invoices, and wallet transactions
- Location: approximate or precise location when you allow it to find nearby stations
- Device & usage: app/browser type, IP address, crash logs, and interaction events needed to operate and secure the Services
- Payments: payment status and references from payment partners (card or UPI credentials are handled by those partners, not stored by us in full)
3. How we use data
- Provide charging, wallet, invoicing, and customer support
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or misuse
- Operate stations, improve reliability, and analyse usage in aggregated form
- Send transactional messages (OTP, session receipts, low-balance alerts)
- Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations in India
4. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Charge point operators and station hosts as needed to deliver charging
- Payment gateways, SMS / OTP providers, cloud hosting, and analytics vendors
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention & security
We retain account, session, and invoice records for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet statutory retention (including tax) requirements, then delete or anonymise them where feasible. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and applicable exceptions, you may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and raise a grievance. 7. Children
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
8. Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes notice of the revised Policy where permitted by law.
