Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026 · Applicable in India

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Next Power EV charging stations, mobile and web applications, RFID tags, wallets, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Inboundtrip Ventures under the brand Next Power (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, topping up your wallet, starting a charging session, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, phone number, OTP access, and RFID tags secure, and for all activity under your account.

3. Charging services

  • Charging is available at participating stations subject to connector availability, station operating hours, network connectivity, and applicable tariffs.
  • Session energy, duration, and charges are recorded from charger meter data and our platform. Displayed estimates before a session are indicative only.
  • You must use equipment safely, follow on-site instructions, and disconnect and leave the bay promptly when your session ends or when asked by station staff.
  • We may suspend or stop a session for safety, fault, unpaid dues, misuse, or network / hardware issues.

4. Tariffs, taxes, and wallet

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and may include applicable taxes such as GST as required by law. Wallet top-ups and session charges are processed through authorised payment partners. Your wallet balance is a prepaid credit for use on the Services and is not a bank deposit or stored-value instrument beyond what is permitted under applicable RBI and payment regulations.

5. RFID and accessories

RFID cards or tags remain subject to activation, assignment to your account, and our fair-use rules. Lost, stolen, or misused tags should be reported immediately so we can disable them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Tamper with chargers, cables, QR codes, or station equipment
  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to bypass billing, authentication, or safety controls
  • Resell access or scrape platform data without written permission

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, vehicle compatibility issues, or interruptions caused by third-party networks, power supply, payment gateways, or force majeure. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms, tariffs, or features with notice through the app, website, or email where required. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or legal / safety reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer forum rights available to you.
